How to fix text to speech pronunciation before exporting audio

Most text to speech mistakes come from text that looks fine to a reader but gives the voice model too little guidance. A few small edits can make the audio easier to understand before you export it.
Start with one paragraph
Generate a short preview before pasting a full script. Listen for names, abbreviations, symbols, dates, currency, and mixed-language phrases. Those are the parts most likely to sound wrong.
Rewrite symbols as words
Replace symbols with the way you want them spoken. Write "percent" instead of "%", "at" instead of "@", and "plus" instead of "+". For URLs, decide whether the voice should read the full address or a simple phrase like "visit our website".
Help the voice with punctuation
Add commas where a human would pause. Split long sentences when the voice rushes. Remove decorative punctuation that does not need to be spoken.
Watch mixed-language text
When a sentence mixes English terms with another language, test that line by itself. If a product name or technical term sounds wrong, try writing it phonetically or placing it in a shorter sentence.
Try the workflow
Use Free Text to Speech to preview one paragraph, edit the tricky words, then generate the final audio after the whole script sounds stable.
